Jackson Nurmi

Jackson Nurmi is a Portfolio Manager at Poet Hill. Mr. Nurmi is concurrently working at DSC Advisors, LP focused on one of its related portfolio companies, Approve Lending, a technology-enhanced lender in the auto refinance space. Prior to joining the Investment Manager, Mr. Nurmi managed a structured products portfolio for a family office. Prior to that, Mr. Nurmi served as a Senior Managing Director at Good Hill Partners, where he was responsible for all asset-backed, residential and consumer-related investments. Mr. Nurmi has developed and implemented credit and investment models for an expansive set of assets in both public and private markets. Additionally, Mr. Nurmi has executed numerous bespoke asset-backed transactions and has helped build a loan originator from scratch. Mr. Nurmi received a B.S. from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
